Colonel Mark E. Tate, USAF (retired) is the founder of Transcendent Consulting, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Mark specializes in executive coaching, supply chain management consulting, and strategic planning. His passion is helping individuals and organizations plan and execute key strategies to achieve excellence.

During his 27-year military career, Mark served as a Logistics Readiness Officer in a variety of positions spanning seventeen assignments and deployments. He commanded logistics organizations on three occasions, served tours as a staff officer at Headquarters United States Air Force, United States Transportation Command, United States Africa Command, and the Defense Logistics Agency. He also deployed to many locations throughout the world in support of contingency operations. His military decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.

Mark earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Transportation and Physical Distribution from Auburn University, a Master’s of Business Administration Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Master’s of Science Degree in Military Science from the United States Air Force Intermediate Service School. He is a credentialed Project Management Professional, a Certified Scrum Master, and a Certified Agile Facilitator. Mark recently completed the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies Executive Certificate Program in Leadership Coaching.
